We are ecstatic to see that our little blog has 4500+ views! In such a short amount of time, it would have never been possible without all our wonderful blogger friends, followers, and readers. So a big shout out to those who helped us reach over four thousand views! Thank you for your support and encouragement.
Blogging is very addictive, and we highly recommend it to anyone with a little bit of extra time on their hands. It might seem tough and frustrating at first, especially as your blog traffic stumbles along. But keep at it and don't give up... you can do it! The most common question for beginner bloggers (and we'll admit... we Googled it a bunch of times, too!) is how they can attract traffic. Here are our two cents. Enjoy!
1. Join social networking sites. For example, Facebook, Twitter, Google+... and advertise your blog while making friends and connections. Share posts with your followers and friends. You can even share popular posts that you published a while back.
2. Give your readers posts that attract them. Write tutorials and give concrete tips on everything. Enchant them. Be remarkable. Give them something to come back for.
3. Be the first one to comment on blog posts. Don't spam, though. Give quality opinions and leave your blog link behind, along with a request for them to visit it.
4. Blog often. We don't recommend blogging every day unless you really can and want to. A new blog post is introduced to our blog every four or five days.
5.Make everything from the widgets to the blog background unique and customized. Just dazzle your audience.
6. Make a blog button... lots of them!
7. Guest posts. Write them and post them. When your posts are republished on other blogs, you'll see a raise in your blog views.
8. Create a "Contact" and "About" page on your blog. Make sure that your readers and followers have lots of ways to contact you.
9. Submit your RSS feeds to Feed Burner.
10. Make sure there are social media icons and subscribe buttons everywhere -- at the bottom of your posts, on the side bar, or on the footer. Make it ridiculously easy for your readers to subscribe, share your work, like or tweet your blog, and check you out elsewhere on the web.
The blog commenting really does work I never thought about making a blog button I will have to look into that
