Wow, we had a blast performing with Michael Allen Harrison in
his "Ten Grands" series this year. The stage was gorgeous.
Stunning. The entire auditorium smelled like roses, because on the
stage were 1,200 sunset-orange roses mixed along with twinkling lights. Azure curtains that feel like silk are drawn back to
reveal a scene that seems to come straight out of a fairytale. The entire stage
is twinkling. On the curtains, on the ground, and in the vibrant, blue fabric
that is swished all around - glimmering lights are hidden everywhere. Ten
glossy, grand pianos are evenly placed on three tiers that have blue fabric
cascading down to the bottom tier-- you just had to be there to see it!

We both loved every moment of being onstage. It was like a dream being up there! We felt like we were angels, looking down at the crowd as if we were in 'heaven'. When we looked out into the audience after the stage lights flashed on, all we could see were exit signs floating arbitrarily in the darkness. But it really wasn't hard to imagine thousands of eyes on you.
To make it even better (if it was possible), we sang one of our favorite songs, "Anyway" by Martina McBride. You can watch us perform live at "Something Grand" at our YouTube channel.

So to sum it all up, it was a fabulous weekend.
