A Jar of Happiness

Starting a new tradition! We made a happiness jar that's itching to be filled with inspiration, joy, daily blessings, and tiny bits of paper describing moments that make us happy.

At the end of 2014, we'll open it together and read all the memories dropped inside throughout the year.

You can make a happiness jar, too! It's too late to start. Just find a jar (or fishbowl, or can, or shoebox... something that can hold your papers and memories!) and write the good, happy moments of each day on pieces of paper:

  • Surprise gifts
  • Accomplished goals
  • The beauty of nature
  • "LOL" moments
  • Memories worth saving
  • Daily blessings

On December 31st, open the container and read all the amazing things that happened to you in 2014. Why not make this your new tradition?

  2. What a cool idea. And it's so easy, and it doesn't cost anything.

  3. Someone did a similar idea called a gratitude jar, but your a jar of happiness falls right in line with showing one's gratitude. Your twist sounds more youthful. I was thinking about starting a gratitude jar, but I may instead call my a jar of happiness. Thanks for sharing & your jar looks so lovely!
