What Do You Do With A Field Full of Dandelions???

Yesterday, we found a field littered with golden dandelions. It was as if droplets of the sun had landed in our backyard. They were everywhere. Everywhere. We could not resist!

We just had to take hundreds of pictures and get some shots for a music video that may come soon in the future. So what do you do with acres of dandelions polka dotting the grass? There is one thing it's great for. Pictures!

Ashley had a blast making a dandelion crown/necklace. She tried to teach Cayla, but... well,  it didn't really work out. We skipped, blew apart fluffy, white seed heads...this is your peek at our backyard. Yes, a field of dandelions is just a few steps away!

  2. There is something else you can do with a field full of dandelions...... eat them (altho I wouldn't - I've heard their bitter like greens are).

Cute blog! Thanks for visiting Classic Children's Books and saying hi! I'm sure you've also been to my other blog so I'll say thanks there as well... LOL Have a wonderful weekend!

  4. Ha ha, what to do with a field full of dandelions:
Step one: Despite what your parents say about spreading seeds, blow all of the ones that you can!
Step 2: Make as many necklaces and crowns as possible. :P
Step 3: Stick some in your hair.
Step 4: Lay in them, and pretend to be one of those relaxing people, I wish I could be...
Step 5: Take a million pictures and videos.
    ;)
I wanna see you again, Cayla, you should come to the lounge next week and hang out with me if you can, k?

    1. Did I tell you that you always make me laugh? We did all of the above except Step 4. (Well, no, I think we did that somewhat, because pollen was all over our clothes.) Have a great weekend, Sarra! Thanks for stopping by!
